Lamb of God may not be able to bring their brand of metal to Malaysia later this month.
According to the "New Strait Times," Malaysia's Department of Islamic Development is asking authorities to bar the group from headlining the upcoming Rockaway Festival in Kuala Lumpur because they have blasphemous elements.
The department's director-general labels the band "satanic," explaining in a statement that their name and the titles of some of their songs and albums oppose both Islamic and Christian morals.
The department hopes to keep authorities from giving the band a permit to play the Kuala Lumpur gig, but Lamb of God is still scheduled to make their way to Malaysia on September 28th.
