Influencers, vloggers, even wannabe missionaries are sneaking into protected areas, trying to meet tribes who’ve chosen isolation for centuries. They bring cameras AND disease. A single outsider could infect a whole community with something as common as the flu and WIPE THEM OUT.
It’s the “look at me” culture: using sacred, untouched lives as props. There’s even footage of this clown trying to reach North Sentinel Island — the same one where outsiders have been killed for trespassing. He called it a “spiritual journey.” Everyone else calls it insane.
The tragedy is that these tribes are living proof of human diversity — languages, stories, and knowledge that don’t exist anywhere else. And if the internet keeps turning exploration into exploitation, we’ll lose them before most people even know they existed. READ MORE HERE
