Have you noticed it feels a little cleaner outside lately? Like since 2020's Pandemic? Well, it seems to be a thing now.
Litter across America decreased 34% since 2020, with each American's share dropping from 152 pieces to 96 along roadways and waterways, according to Keep America Beautiful's new report. THIS IS AWESOME!!!!
So why the sudden change?
It comes from education, local programs, enforcement, better infrastructure, and increased public engagement. Nearly 90% of Americans feel personal responsibility to reduce litter. \
It takes a second to toss something in the trash, or if you see it pick it up. We live in a beautiful place, so why not keep it as nice as it could be?
