Instacart has released its Flavors of the Fourth report, which shows which foods are in high demand before the Fourth of July. You might need this list if you're planning a party.
Demand for corn is up 380% and charcoal is up 222%. Demand for potato salad has increased 177%. Other in-demand items include baby back ribs, hot dog buns, canned baked beans, and bratwurst. Did you already have this stuff ready?
“When hosting backyard parties, people often prioritize quick preparation, easy serving, and broad appeal,” Laurentia Romaniuk of Instacart said. “Hot dogs, in particular, are favored across more states because they’re convenient and don’t even require a plate!”
