(Batavia) The Clermont County Municipal Court set bond Monday morning for the second woman accused of beating a young boy.

Bail is set at $750,000 for 19-year-old Alexsis Sexton of Batavia who allegedly dropped 14-month-old Noah Philpower while he was in her care.

The toddler was sent to Cincinnati's Children's Hospital for a skull fracture and lacterations to his liver. Noah's recovery has allowed for him to be transported from intensive care to a regular room this weekend.

Police say the injuries happened at 19-year-old Victoria Gans' home last Tuesday. She's the boy's mother and she's also in custody, charged with child endangering.

Gans told investigators she left her son in the care of two adults for about four hours.

The case is still under investigation.
