2021 Serpentine Wall Update

First, the Cincinnati Park Board has issued the following statement regarding the Serpentine Wall:
In coordination with officials from the City of Cincinnati, due to rising river levels, fans of Riverfest will not be permitted to set up along the Serpentine Wall until gates open on Sunday at 12 noon. Anything placed along the Serpentine Wall before 12 noon on Sunday will be removed. We ask for fan's cooperation as the river levels recede and we are able to clean the wall up for Sunday's festivities.
iHeartMedia Cincinnati/ 102.7 WEBN will move their broadcast stage from the bottom of the Serpentine Wall to the top of the wall at flagpole 4 to keep our sound and electrical equipment safe, along with moving our front row patrons to the top. Our sound equipment must also be moved, so those who choose to sit on the Serpentine Wall this year are encouraged to bring a boombox to listen to the soundtrack.
The Cincinnati Police Department asks that attendees should not bring their own fireworks to the event.
Secondly, as of 1pm today, the Coast Guard will be officially rescinding the river closure that was issued on Wednesday, due the predicted water levels receding. We will be moving back to the original river closure plans,CLICK HEREfor information regarding boat/ marine (This link will be updated at 1pm)
As of this morning, the lower wall has flooded, with the water level sitting at 33 feet. This water level is expected to increase throughout the day into the overnight on Saturday, and start receding Saturday morning. CLICK HEREfor latest Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service from the National Weather Service.
We are looking forward to having everyone down on the river for another great year of Riverfest and the W&S/ WEBN Fireworks!
