Rats are gross and carry diseases, so it’s never good to have them in a home.
A family in England realized that and called in an exterminator.
What they found has gone viral.
One rat that was caught was 22 inches long…the size of a house cat.
A snap of the rodent in a plastic bag was posted to social media along with a quote from the North Yorkshire councillors, warning that this wasn’t a “one off.”
Pictures of massive rat holes were even posted.
The Wildlife Trust notes that A female brown rat can begin reproducing at around 3 months old, and has an average of five litters a year, each with up to 12 young, making them "famously good breeders."
