Oregon Measles Outbreak Cause Public Emergency In Anti-Vaccination Hotspot

Health officials are urging residents to make sure they're up to date on their measles vaccinations amid an outbreak of the infection in southwestern Washington.  The Washington Department of Health tells KING-5 in Seattle that vaccination is the best way to prevent this serious and sometimes deadly disease.  Public health officials in Clark County say they've confirmed 23 cases of measles in the county since the start of the year.  Officials say nearly all of those cases involve children who have not been vaccinated.
