Metallica's James Hetfield Visits Wounded Ukrainian Soldiers

James Hetfield is trying to give back. The Metallica rocker recently made a surprise visit to a pair of wounded Ukrainian soldiers. 

Hetfield was introduced to the two soldiers by Limbs for Liberty, a local non-profit organization founded to support Ukrainians who have been injured during the war. Hetfield met the co-founder of the group by chance in the hospital’s car park and she arranged the visit. 

She later told reporters that Hetfield, “wished the men luck and get better soon.” After the visit, he also left a note on her car saying: “You made my day.”
