Ozzy's farewell gig “Back to the Beginning” won’t be the first charity show he and his Black Sabbath bandmates have been part of. Back in 1985 the band lobbied to be part of Live Aide, which would be Ozzy’s first show back with the band since being booted in 1979 due to his excessive druggin’ & boozin’. Before playing in front of 102 thousand in attendance and millions across the globe, Sabbath spent just 1 hour rehearsing & instead spent the night at a bar partying. Tony Iommi admits he had a dreadful hangover so he wore dark sunglasses while playing “Children of the Grave,” “Iron Man,” and “Paranoid” in the bright sunlight.
