A TSU tuba player for Texas Southern Ocean of Soul marching band threw knockout punches at a heckler and kept right on playing over the weekend. The tuba player was playing in the stands when a heckler approached him during the game against Jackson State. Words were exchanged followed by the tuba player dishing out several punches which knocked out the heckler. The tuba player then went right back to playing his instrument. Texas Southern is investigating the confrontation.
