Metallica will play this year’s Global Citizen Festival on September 24th in New York City's central park. This will be the second time Metallica's played the festival as they did a 30 minute set back in 2016. The Global Citizen Festival has become the world’s longest-running global campaign calling for an end to extreme poverty. The festival will be broadcasted free on various platforms including the iHeart Radio App.
