Back in the day I remember being a little kid and smacking my dad on his stomach. He would say "that's all muscle." or "It shows you we have enough money to eat." Have you ever heard the saying "Fat, but fit?"
Researchers from the University of Virginia found that it’s possible to be “fat but fit.” The study found that people who are overweight or obese but physically fit have the same death risk as someone at a “normal” weight. There's a happy thought.
The study collected data from 400,000 people, researchers found that being out of shape raised death risk, not weight alone. “Exercise is more than just a way to expend calories,” Associate Professor Siddhartha Angadi said.
Something is going to get you, so whatever. Have a donut, eat some chili, or don't. But when someone calls you fat, just say "We're in a race to the grave, and my gas tank is full. See you in hell." That will shut them up real quick.
