Alice Cooper Will Tour Into His 80s, Says Nita Strauss

Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss says she thinks her boss has 10 - 15 years of touring left in him.

Strauss was asked during a recent appearance on Rock Talk With Mitch Lafon whether she has a plan for when Cooper decides to hang it up.

The guitarist, who tends to keep pretty busy, said she doesn't see retirement in the iconic shock rocker's near future. There's a chance they'll retire around the same time!

"I think Alice has plenty of career in front of him to keep him busy for a nice long time," she said. "I'm 31, and maybe in 15 years, when I'm 46, maybe I'll wanna settle down. Alice has 10, 15 years [of touring] left."

She says she's presently riding a wave of positivity into 2019.

"I could be playing with Alice next year. I could be playing with Pink next year. Or I could be playing my own solo stuff next year. I'm keeping myself open to all possibilities."

Cooper has 17 tour dates announced for this year. You can see them here

In addition to her various non-Alice Cooper-related projects, last year Strauss became the first woman to get a signature guitar with Ibanez when she unveiled her signature JIVA.

Strauss has been playing lead guitar for Cooper since 2014.
