Trans-Siberian Orchestra Will Return in 2017

Following the tragic death of Trans-Siberian Orchestra creator Paul O'Neill earlier in 2017, the show will return this fall.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra has not yet released dates, but posted an update on its website emphasizing plans to continue.

"[We] are determined to carry on the rock theater project to which [Paul O'Neill] dedicated his life," read the statement.

"Paul always talked about how he saw TSO as both an idea and ideal that would continue long after he stepped off the 'flight deck' (his name for the stage)," the statement continued. "We hope to continue his work of providing a timeless, multi-generational tradition like those created by his idol Charles Dickens."

The revamped show will feature the story from O'Neill's 1999 TV movie The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.
