(Cincinnati) - Ricardo Woods, 35, has been sentenced to 36 years to life in prison for the murder of David Chandler in 2010.

Prosecutors showed the jury a video of a paralyzed Chandler blinking his eyes to identify the shooter shortly before his death. When police showed the name of Woods on a piece of paper, Chandler blinked his eyes three times, confirming the gunman to the officers.

Despite the video evidence, Woods plans to appeal the sentence.
