(Hamilton, Ohio) Hamilton will get funky this Thursday when two distinctive bands hit the stage at RiversEdge Amphitheater as part of their free summer concert series.

A band straight from Cincinnati, Flawless, is comprised of 6 internationally known R&B, Jazz, Funk, and Rock Artists.

The members include Miss Dawn Bosan on Congas/Percussion/Vocals, Trumpet and Flugelhorn, Cuzz Wilson on drums and vocals, Nicholas Brown on Keyboard and vocals, Carlos Vargus on guitar, and Walt Coleman on bass/vocals.

Flawless is a soulful band who deliver a great performance not only through their deep, soothing, music, but also through their stage presence.

Performing on stages throughout the tri-state, the Indi band have been providing a groovy atmosphere for a few years.

The band’s distinctive sound corresponds to the sounds of Laruen Hill and Erykah Badu meets Bootsy Collins and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

They perform not only their original songs, but also they add their own twist to covers like “At Last” by Etta James and “You Rock My World” by Michael Jackson.

Flawless provides a fun, loving, atmosphere for all ages and encourages fans to get up and dance.

A band that have completely the opposite style of music is Shaker and the Egg. They are group of 6 members who have established Green Bay’s first original swing/funk band.

Similar to the style of Elvis Presley and Eddie Cochran, Shaker and Eggs provide an array of sounds that produce the up-tempo style to their style of music.

They are comprised of Schorr on lead vocals and guitar, Seth Jorgensen on saxophone, Andrew Klaus on drums, Alex Drossart on keyboard, and Erik Sikich on bass.

Shaker and the Egg formed in 2009 and since then have recorded their first full length album that illustrates each of their personalities to produce a great quality sound.

This band creates an atmosphere where people feel the need to start shaking their legs and moving their hips to the beat of their songs.

The concert starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. at RiversEdge Amphitheater. For more information visit about the summer concert series, visit the Hamilton City website
